Forestry Mulching is a fast, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way for land owners, whether private land owners, businesses, governmental agencies or land trusts to improve the value and beauty of their land by reducing unwanted vegetation including brush and trees into a mulch that remains on site.

Mulched material decays over time returning beneficial nutrients to the soil. The mulch also acts as a ground cover to reduce any potential for soil erosion until vegetation is reestablished.

Brush mowing, another method of brush removal, leaves a small stump about 2″ high. A forestry mulcher removes vegetation flush to the ground.  Small stumps from brush mowing are far from ideal for walking trails, can injure animal hooves, and even puncture vehicle tires.

Since a forestry mulcher cuts vegetation, tree stumps included, flush to the ground surface, root systems remain intact as they decay to further minimize the likelihood of soil erosion.

Forestry mulching can also eliminate habitat for deer ticks, known carriers of Lyme disease.
