Salem M. Thacker is an attorney with Iddings & Thacker, PLLC, serving clients from the firm’s office on North Greene Street in Greensboro. The firm handles residential and commercial real estate closings, wills and estates, and business formations. Salem’s real estate work includes contract preparation, title searches, closings for purchases and refinances, deeds, loan document review, and disbursement of settlement funds.
After law school, Salem practiced in a variety of areas, including personal injury, family law, and criminal defense. Real estate law became his favorite practice area, and he has focused on it ever since. In 2016, he opened his own solo real estate practice, and in 2019 he merged with his friend and partner Jeff Iddings to form Iddings & Thacker. Since Jeff’s retirement after 35 years, Salem and his team have continued taking care of the many friends and clients Jeff served over the years.
A lifelong North Carolinian, Salem grew up in Greensboro and is a graduate of Page High School. He earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D., cum laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law. Outside of work, Salem enjoys spending time and going on adventures with his wife, Lauren, and their two young children.
We are a proud sponsor of our local Real Producers magazine.
