Mark E. Power Jr., President of Community Bank’s Mortgage Division, brings over 25 years of real estate experience to his role. A Jackson native and graduate of Mississippi State University (Accounting, MBA) and Mississippi College School of Law, Power has extensive expertise in business, law, and mortgage lending. Influenced early by his father’s long career in real estate, he has held broker’s licenses in multiple states and worked on numerous land development transactions.


Since joining Community Bank in 2018 and becoming President of the Mortgage Division in 2020, Power has led a seasoned team with decades of combined experience. Under his leadership, Community Bank serves clients across Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee, offering a full range of mortgage products including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and portfolio loans. The bank emphasizes efficiency through online tools, in-house underwriting, and personalized, community-based service.


Dedicated to strong relationships with Realtors®, builders, and mortgage associations, Power highlights the bank’s reputation, team culture, and commitment to clients as key differentiators. A longtime Brandon resident, he and his wife Jeana are active in their community and church while raising their two children.
