Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup has been locally owned and operated by the Smith family since 1962. Don and Frances Smith started the business as a one-truck operation out of their living room, with Frances answering phones and keeping the books while Don worked in the field.

Today, Roto-Rooter remains proudly family owned and operated and is now in its third generation of Smith family leadership. Greg remains active in the business, while his daughter Hannah serves as Chief Operating Officer and Libby works across several areas of the company, including marketing, accounting, dispatch and technology.

With nearly 50 employees, Roto-Rooter is a full-service plumbing and water cleanup company serving Mobile, Baldwin and Washington Counties. The company remains committed to professional service, strong community ties and the same family values that have guided the business for more than six decades.
