Cherika Johnson, a proud East Texas native of over 40 years, is a distinguished leader in real estate and an active contributor to her community. A graduate of Longview High School, Cherika earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LeTourneau University and a Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

Licensed as a Realtor® since 2007, Cherika achieved her Broker’s license in 2016 and founded Johnson Realty. Her professional accomplishments are matched by her dedication to giving back. Cherika is a committed member of several organizations, including the Junior League of Longview, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Epsilon Zeta Omega Chapter, Leadership Longview, and she serves as a board member for Longview ISD Foundation, Tyler Area Board of Black Realtist, and Northeast Texas Habitat for Humanity.

Within the real estate community, Cherika has held numerous leadership roles. She is a Texas Realtors Leadership Program (TRLP) graduate, has served on the Public Relations, Professional Standards, and MLS committees, and chaired the Scholarship Committee with the Longview Area Association of Realtors. Her influence extends beyond the local level as she has served on the Housing Initiatives and Housing Opportunity Committees with the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR). In 2021, she was also a member of the Diversity Committee with TAR and the Idea Exchange Council for Brokers with the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Cherika’s dedication to her profession and community has been widely recognized. In 2016, she was honored as a Star Over Longview by Longview Regional Medical Center for her exceptional service within her community. She was named Realtor of the Year in 2019 by the Longview Area Association of Realtors, and in 2023, she was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by Longview Independent School District. Cherika’s passion for leadership, service, and community continues to inspire those around her.
